This policy explains what personal data Centric Limited (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Data you store inside the EPOS-CL software is covered by your agreement with us.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to run the website:
- Demo and contact requests: your name, business name, type of business, phone number, email address and anything you write in the message.
- Emails you send us directly.
- Basic server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested), used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use your data
We use the data you give us to:
- reply to your request and arrange a demo,
- prepare a quote that fits your business,
- keep a record of our conversation with you.
Legal basis
We process your data because you asked us to contact you (consent) and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our products. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in discussion with you, and for up to two years afterwards unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it,
- ask us to correct or delete it,
- object to or withdraw consent for how we use it,
- complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to the people at Centric Limited who need it to reply to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
